Lisa Edelstein is an American actress, best known for her work on House, a Fox medical show, House. In a strict Jewish background the actress was able to move from Wayne in the state of Wayne to New York City when she was 18 to attend Tisch School of Arts. The school was very active in the club scene, creating enough of a stir to draw the attention of the media. She then used her background and fame as well as her own education to write and present a program called Positive Me. In the following months, she got the job of MTV and was the host of Awake to the Wild Side. Her first appearances in film and television productions following the end of the series. Initially, she was in smaller roles.
