When asked about her decision to resign as the singer of ARCH ENEMY Gossow said simply There's an appropriate time and space for every thing. My professional career started in 1991. I was enjoying life on the road was fading. It was easier to just give up than keep on playing. The group was initially fronted Johan Liiva, who was then succeeded by German singer Angela Gossow. An archenemy in literature may be called arch-enemy. In fiction, it's a person who is the antagonist's (usually a hero) most well-known opponent.
