Julia Fiona Roberts, born October 28, 1967 on the 28th of October, 1967 in Atlanta to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Julia Fona Roberts is the 4th generation Roberts that resided in Atlanta. Her father was a theatre enthusiast from a very young stage. When he was a student of Emory University, he performed in several productions in Atlanta. Following his air force service, in 1953 he appeared in an air force production in Biloxi along with Betty Lou Bredemus. Both married in 2005 and welcomed their first child, Eric Anthony in 1956. In 1957, the couple quit the military and Walter began his studies in Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter was recruited as a technician by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to work on the set of Bum Bum and His Buddies. The show was filmed in Decatur Georgia. In 1964 Walter along with Betty Lou began production on a local Saturday morning children's television show named Bum Bum and His Buddies which they financed on their own. In 1964, Walter and Betty Lou founded The Actors and Writers Workshop. It ran for 6 years. They had two more children, Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also called Lisa), and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also known by the name Julie).
