Alison Maria Krauss, born on July 23, 1971, is an American artist and performer. Her age was just teen when she began her journey into the music world winning local competitions at the age of 10 old, and recorded her first album when she was 14 years old. In 1985 she was signed with Rounder Records. Her first solo album came out in 1987. The group she joined was whom she performs, Alison Krauss Union Station. The group released their debut album in 1989.
