Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th, 1996) was born in Miami Florida. A half English and half Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father was Argentine with Scottish-English heritage. Her mother is Spanish and English origin. Taylor Joy has four brothers and sisters, with one coming in each parent's prior marriages. They were originally from Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. Taylor Joy claims that her move to England was a very difficult experience. She refused to learn English and was hoping to return to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed to Northlands to Hill House. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. In her 16th year she left college and began pursuing a career acting full-time. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to become an actor. Her dream was granted a chance to try it by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered the opportunity to model.
